Well we had 32 week appointment today and all is back on track. She's back in position, I was pretty sure since all the kicks are back under my ribcage, not to mention I woke up a few nights back with some intense pressure. Funny, third time around you still are sure and have doubts, so I didn't want to say anything until it was confirmed ;-) We go back in two weeks to have another ultrasound to see how much bigger she has gotten!
Riordan is offically walking for a week now!! He is so funny, he makes himself crack up when he goes far... He still reverts to crawling when he's on a mission, because he can get there fastest, where ever that is... He is also teething his molars and he is having the roughest time with it. Nothing works, except for sleep thankfully. I'm ready to drink though, LOL, it's been a tough week and a half with his crankiness every single day...
I can't believe it's Friday!
Caden has been doing tee ball in his peewee camp and tomorrow it's outside. Riordan and I will stay home for that, it's actually too cold at 9am for us to be outside not moving around, really is for Caden too, but he will be running ;-) At school this week, he learned about doctors an dentists, last week firefighters and policemen.. so when asked what he wanted to be when he grew up? A Pizza Man!! Now that is along the lines of my aspirations of him being a chef LOL!! It would be nice to have someone to cook for me.... So cute though, his teachers are phenomenial!!
My friends, Terri, Michelle, and Monica, are throwing me a shower next Saturday! They were so extremely thoughtful and are having a tea party, as girly as they could get it! I can't wait!!

Just around the corner
I can't believe that Teagan will be here very soon... as soon as 7 weeks if all goes as planned. But if you know me and the way that my children love to be in the womb, it will most likely be 10 weeks ;-) I think it's time that we put the crib together, that my sister so generously offered up to us with Isabel's, my neice, custom French blue toile bedding. It is absolutely gorgeous.
Also, my incredible friends, Terri, Michelle, and Monica are throwing me a baby shower on Feb. 4th! Location to be a surprise. They are having a good time keeping a secret from me ;-) All I'm told is they are picking me up at 10!!
I have been pretty particular on what clothing I have been buying for her. Quality, not quanity, which can end up kicking me in the rear when she gets older, if ya know what I mean. But only the best, right?!
Mike and I have been discussing middle names, I'm rooting for a family name from my side of the family. This is why Riordan ended up with two middle names. We couldn't agree !! I can't see what the problem is here. I carry them around for 9 months and then still used afterwards for milk!! I should have priority, besides I know their personalities already with their movements before they are even born. Mom knows best ;-) Actually, it's been pleasant this time around trying to figure it out, no feelings of a big rush, due to history!

Our day with the local Fire Department
Today, Caden and I had a date with MOMS Club to have a tour of the local firestation. It was very fun and Caden, who was timid at first, really enjoyed it! Firestation Pics
Our day wasn't over quite yet when we came home with them. Mike was off of work and to enjoy the day with daddy we decided to go to lunch. He started the car and put the boys in their carseats. I came out with my set of keys, because they are the only ones with our house key on it, and he went back in to gather his wallet and such.
I was putting Riordan's shoes on, who was getting a little fussy. So I handed him my keys. He does his usual, putting his mouth all over them, then found the lock button on the truck and was playing with that. I didn't think anything about it, just to took them away and tossed them on the front seat.
I shut his door and went to open mine. LOCKED!! The boys, strapped in their carseats, locked doors, and car running. I panicked immediately. I started to bang on the house door so that Mike didn't leave it locking us out of it as well. He comes out and Caden and Riordan, who are not sure what's going on, just sit patiently.
As Mike is trying to teach Caden for the first time how to get out of his carseat, I'm on the phone with 911. They transfer me to, yep, our local firestation, the exact location we had just been. I told them the car was running, and that Mike was trying to get Caden to unbuckle and get to the keys on the front seat. We knew he wasn't going to be able to unlock the door or open it because we kept the boys doors on childlock. So I assume because of this, they didn't rush, because it was almost 15 minutes later (they are literally 2 minutes away) that they show up. (I also know they weren't in a rush, for Michelle was still at the station when the guys left!)
In the meantime, Caden has been able to undo the top latch and the left side of his seatbelt. Then he tried to slide his leg out of the straps, these carseats are well made, he can't budge it. He even took off his shoe and sock to try ;-) He started to get frustrated so we took 'breaks' and would try again. All along, praising him for doing such an incredible job and he would get a special treat. His immediate response, "Can I have candy?" We of course said, "You can have anything you want!"
Just as the firetruck came around the corner, Caden reaches over to the window button, pushes it and rolls it down!!!!!!! Now, like I said, the doors are always on childlock, so we just assumed this wasn't an option! Mike and I began to laugh, as did the boys.
I call over to the firemen, who recognized us right away, and told them he rolled the window down and that I was so sorry that they had to bring the BIG firetruck out. They asked if the boys were ok, said it was no problem and all began to wave goodbye.
So this week, we are making our local firefighters a thank you treat and recoding the code on the outside of the truck so this can never, ever happen again ;-)
Apparently, I have been having a key issue. Last week at Target, I locked the keys in the same car as well. I was on the cell phone sitting in the parking lot, so not paying attention, when I was done with the call, I dropped the keys and the phone in the cup holder. I had to call Mike to come and use the spare key. Didn't learn my lesson then, so you can bet we all have now ;-)

Update ;-)
Well, I definitely knocked her out of position!! LOL She is breech! Head is up on the left side of me, bottom right in the middle where my waist would be on the right and then her legs swinging back around and kicking on the my bottom!! I don't blame her ;-) They aren't worried though, she should go back into position once she feels safe again. I kept saying she's not in the same place anymore, I even look and feel smaller... I wonder if I can get back into my jeans now! Was going to have to buy some more, because they weren't fitting! The u/s shows her head at a 34 week baby's size (not surprising there, the Malloy head is on both the boys as well), her body is measuring at 30 1/2 weeks, and her legs are at 31 1/2 weeks.. so typical Mike and Heather baby.. big head, big feet too by the way, and long legs... Will post the pics tonite...We go back in two weeks for our 32 week check up!
Just call me Grace!
At my last doctor's appointment, my OB really talked about the stairs. She's the first one to ever really say anything, even though I had stairs at the condo. Anyway, I wasn't to carry anything up or down them, falls were very common for pregnant women, etc. I'm am known in my family already as Grace~because I am clumsy. I generally fall up the stairs too! LOL
So last night after a great dinner with Mike and his family, we came home. I went upstairs to check email, of course, and was coming back down to watch my much anticipated Lost. On the second to last step, my ankle gave out. I was standing on it. Now this is a weak ankle and I have been doing this since my softball days. So much scar tissue in it that it's not supporting my large frame ;-)
I some how landed right on my bottom on the tile floor. Caden saw the whole thing. I screamed from the pain of my ankle and then I was scared for the baby. But Caden was hysterical. I immediately forgot about me, and told him to come here and that I was okay and I was sorry!!! Amazing!! Mike came running over to me and I said I'm not sure, but I have either peed all over myself or my water broke. My pants and the floor were soaked!!
Mike's brother and mom came over and we went to Chandler Regional to get checked out.
Thankfully, my water had not broken, but I was having very light contractions. Not concerned though, they sent me home after an hour, not without teasing me about being Grace, funny how it follows me everywhere, and to sleep downstairs till the baby is born !! LOL
This morning of course I am very sore, round ligament pain in full effect, and my ankle is of course swollen. I have a regular appointment with my OB and a scheduled u/s to start watching her weight. Plus I'm curious about her position because she feels different to me and even Mike agrees I don't look like I'm carrying her the same way. The nurse wasn't able to tell where she was, said she was too small!! Hooray for that!
I just thank God, that I didn't hit my belly or the chairs we have propped up at the bottom for Riordan to not be able to go up!!

Caden's first day of school in Arizona!

He was so excited! We bought him a Nemo backpack and he slept with it last night. He was so attached to it, that when he came to our bed in the middle of the night, he threw it on me and then climbed up on the bed. I think my heart skipped a few beats as I gasped out loud and then started to laugh lovingly at his actions. He also slept with it at nap today. He had a great day, he painted, traced his name, colored, played outside, and drank water and ate cookies. He can't wait to go back on Thursday and I am so happy he is enjoying it! These pics are him showing off his backpack the night before and the day of school :-)

Caden's Pee Wee Camp
Caden began his pee wee camp this past Saturday! He is beginning with soccer, then t-ball, and finally basketball, a total of six weeks. It's held inside the gym at a local Jr High. He was trying to shoot baskets at the beginning, then was very shy about being involved with warm up and drills, but once he was able to start kicking the ball around the gym he was back to his usual self ;-) We went to target and got a soccer ball (our last one Sully popped back in GA) and began practicing at home. There is a league we can sign him up with but I think we will wait until Fall for that since he was not as into it as the rest of the children.
And as always we are in a music class. We were in one for the fall out here, but we were so sick for the majority of classes and not able to make up when it was available so we missed a lot. This new class is similar, but much closer, but with no ability to make up missed classes at all. So no sickness! ;-)and no misses!
The boys really seemed to enjoy this teacher and it's more comfortable for me because we are provided with a tumbling mat to sit on instead of the hard floor.. I'm not moving around as easily, of course. And I have the normal round ligament pain that I have had with the boys, so my movement is even more restrict as far as exercise, so I don't aggravate it even more. The wonderful joys of pregnancy!

The miners
Imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning to read the headlines that 12 died and one has survived. I watched the breaking news last night of 12 found alive and watched the ambulance take away the first, but not knowing it was the only survivor. Watching the families last night was so uplifting, their excitement and joy was contagious. I went to bed with a smile of my face, even though the t.v. was still on. It was like Christmas, I was fighting the sleep so I could get more word or to get a glimpse of the miners. Within that first hour, it was said the survivors were going to go to the church to be with their families!! How horrible a rumor starts! So I finally fell asleep, saying to myself, I'll watch the recaps in the morning.
How upset I was to learn of the real truth, and I can't even imagine what the families are feeling or thinking at this moment. Of course fights broke out, who started the whole lie! I would be fighting mad! Someone needs to answer to this!
I pray for the lone survivor, hoping he can give the victims families answers, last words, and closure. I pray for the families for peace and healing. It's not over yet, you know this will ensue into a court battle, especially since the company itself was in a lot of trouble already with not performing up to the standards of mining today.

Christmas Pictures finally!

I finally have uploaded them ;-) What a great morning we had and it was even more special with Aunt Amy and Uncle John to help us celebrate! How neat too that after we opened gifts we were outside watching Caden enjoy his new t-ball set! I think it was in the 50's at that point and we reached 78 for the day, holy moly! We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas as well and can't wait to see pictures!

Happy New Year 2006!!

We hope everyone had a great New Years! We stayed home and watched T.V. Very low key and very nice!
I'm going to back track a little and show you the Tumbleweed Christmas tree in our city of Chandler. Yes Tumbleweed! It's sounds awful but actually very pretty! We went to it when my sister, nephew, and mom came and visited for the boys birthday party. It's located in the historic A.J. Chandler Park and at night during the holidays you could ride a little train that drove around the park, for free! Also during their visit we drove to the other side of the Santan Mountains and got a good look at some desert life including cactus. It was fun!
