MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Well it is still in AZ ;-)

Were do I start? The beginning is always good. Aislinn caught the children's cold and from Friday she had runny nose and hacking cough. Well on Sunday, she began coughing so hard that she wasn't keeping much down from nursing. All day she slept and began running a slight fever. She did the hacking cough all night Sunday night still not nursing well and coughing up what she ate, so at 5 am, my gut told me to take her in. So off the the ER we went.
We went to our local hospital, Chandler, mostly because I wanted her to be treated near our pediatrician. We were seen immediately, and X-rayed for pneumonia (neg) and tested for RSV (negative). She in the mean time had been put on breathing treatments, which were making a huge difference in her hacking persistent cough. I just felt so bad for her! After 4 hours in the ER, we were discharged with orders of more treatments and a followup with our doc on Wednesday. She looked so much better than when we went in. I know my children are ghostly white, but she had really lacked her luster when we went in. It was back when we left.
So got home at 9:30, and then I had to run back to our doctor's office to get a new nebulizer for her treatments, as well as Wal-Green's. It was such a full day already.
The treatments do pretty well, but she still has a horrible hacking cough, so I don't know what will be going on tomorrow morning. We have a 7:30 follow up with the Allergist, which I could not get results from over the phone (they wouldn't call me back) on her blood work. If it were all negative there is no reason for the follow up! However, now I'm concerned about her lungs with this cough (this is how Caden's asthma was diagnosed) and want Dr. Rishi's input. Funny how things work out. Then off to Dr. Sudha's at 8:45 across the parking lot we will go.
Dr. Sudha, as I always say, rocks! I called her on the way to the ER, I was a bit upset that she had been sick so much, mostly concerned for hydration because she was showing it in her diaper with the 'orange' spots. Dr. Sudha CALLED the ER while we were still there! Got us a nebulizer from her office instead of a medical company! I just feel so treasured at her office. Everyone is really great!

The rest of the day was rest and waiting on the other AZ Malloy's to have a family Christmas Eve. It was wonderful! We ate and laughed and had champagne and exchanged gifts. Had the children down by 8 pm and got underway to prepare for Christmas morning! We were done by 10 (thankfully I wrapped most the week before and the remaining odds and ends the night before even organizing bags for stocking stuffers!) It was the best!
Caden was up at 4:50!! Ugh! But we brought him back to our bed, he was so super excited!! It's hard not to get caught up in it! We finally got up around 6:30, Riordan was up at 7:30, and then Teagan at 8.. The boys were so patient and it helped they had Teagan's gifts that weren't wrapped to play with. Grammy and Papa got up a little after Riordan. Put the casserole in the oven for breakfast and it cooked while we opened gifts! Took a whole hour! Teagan just really took her time and really wanted to play with what she unwrapped, as did Riordan. Caden couldn't wait to get to the next one, so he wanted to unwrap for his siblings LOL.

After all that, I began a feast for 14 at 10 am! I was cooking up until we ate at 5 pm. Boy am I wiped out, but still so content with our day that I wanted to post and I actually have uploaded pictures already! We have some very cute ones from dinner with the Tripp Family that I haven't uploaded yet, but I will do that sometime tomorrow maybe?
Maybe not!! My sister Jen and nephew Garrett get in at 11:30! Mike is picking them up and we are having our house cleaned as well! Oh I can't wait to see Jen and Garrett!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CADEN!!

Happy Birthday Caden! I can't believe that you are 5 today!!

Today is going to be a busy yet fun day!

He already opened his gift. We got him a Leapster Leap Pad with all kinds of books for it. Leapster had an INSANE sale a couple of weeks ago, books were 3 bucks a piece. I have a stash of 8 up in the closet on top of all the ones we gave him this morning.

5 years ago I had my first baby, I tell him all the time! He was a little bit cranky though and didn't want me to sing Happy Birthday to him. I did anyway ;-)

Wouldn't you know

Wouldn't you know it, Caden came home with a fever from school today. He said that he didn't want any of the treats they had at school and he wanted to go to bed. So tomorrow we have a well visit that will mostly be a sick visit. On his birthday! Poor guy. I just pray he doesn't start throwing up, that just stinks for him. I hate to see them in that state, any mother does.
So we will just wait until tomorrow morning, and pray that Teagan avoids it. I'm thinking of having Riordan go and get retested so it doesn't reappear on Christmas. Tomorrow is his last day of antibiotics which by the way we don't have any of because he spit it out the little goose.

5 more sleeps till Christmas

But even better 6 more sleeps till my sister Jen and her son Garrett come to visit for the week!
We can't wait.. Praying for snow, but we will do the zoo lights I hope.. Everyone just got winter jackets for a steal at Old Navy!!

Completely done with Christmas Shopping too! Yip yip hooray!

Going to have dinner with the girls tonite at Sautee'. I need it so badly. I haven't been out of the house since last week, well I got out yesterday but that was to Target, come home feed the baby, and then back out to Fry's. Not my idea of relaxing and having mommy time.

Tomorrow is Caden's birthday and we are still a go for Build a Bear. Before that, I get my hair done, and before that Caden has his 5 year well check NO SHOTS! :-)

Christmas Eve we are doing finger foods with Grammy, Papa, Aunt Amy, and Uncle John.
Mike is getting his haircut ( second time I haven't done it in a row )and then picking up our turkey at AJ's. Christmas day we will do our traditional dinner that I have always done with my family.  And all the trimmings to go with it. Grammy and Papa will be here as well as the Tripp Family! It wouldn't be the holidays without sharing it with them! I really think we have started a great tradition with them! Thanksgiving there, Christmas here!

Then Jen and Garrett come on Wednesday!! It will be Christmas the whole week!

Update today

Well so far so good! Riordan has not gotten sick, but he does a fever still. I had to pretty much threaten him to take his antibiotic, and he finally took it without spitting it out. It's cherry flavored come on! I wish medicine tasted this good when I was a kid! THankfully only once a day and only 4 more days to go. And I pray this is the right road to recovery.
Teagan has a horrible cough now and Caden is holding his own.
Mike surprised us with a short visit before he headed off to Tucson for a dinner meeting. It was torture on all of us to see him go, but great to see him being that it's been like single parent for a couple of days here for me.
Aislinn just woke, gotta gooooooooo

Poor Riordan again!

Well I was thinking that maybe he had a flu bug, but at 2 pm he spiked a fever again and began to get sick. He hadn't eaten all day so it was the pit of his tummy.
So thinking I would just send Mike and him to urgent care at night, I began to feel really bad for him because he was getting sick every 30 mins to an hour again.
Michelle was picking up Caden for his t-ball party, so I called our neighbor Lauren, who is 13 1/2 and Teagan ADORES, and she came over to watch Teagan so I could take Riordan along with Aislinn to a nearby Urgent Care. At first he resisted but then wanted to go. Once we got there, he threw up in the parking lot :(
I had printed the paper work online and filled it out before we got there, so it was very easy to hand it over. Within minutes we were being seen.
Temp was 102, and to me it was breaking, so I wonder what it was when it spiked, because he is so stubborn he wouldn't let me take it. When we saw the Doctor, he agreed it was Strep, even though Riordan wouldn't open his mouth, and got us meds. He even did a shot of antibiotics in the office for me, because my stubborn mule wasn't wanting to take medicine and spitting it out. I just wanted him to feel better asap, and a shot I knew would help. He handled it impressively well though! Didn't fight it, a hip shot, as I held him in my arms and now is proud of his bandaid.
He still got sick quite a few times when we got home and in the middle of the night. So I'm praying once he wakes up he will be a new little boy again, happy, impish, and full of mischief.
Although, since he doesn't cuddle, I'm loving every minute of the cuddles I am getting!

Poor Riordan and more

Poor Riordan, he was up every 30 mins to an hour getting sick. And just the pit of his tummy. He had gotten sick only once the night before but I'm sure it was from coughing so much. He has a high fever that comes and goes (he won't take anything!)
So it's either the flu last night or strep.. The day will tell. I'm leaning more towards the flu because he has a cold and croup. Strep normally is just a fever and throwing up with us. But he only gets sick at night which is a strep sign for us! Ay me!
Urgent care tonite if the fever comes back.
Kristi is picking up Caden's from school for me. This cold is kicking my rear end!
Tonite is Caden's t-ball party, and the lot of us will be staying home while Coach Mike and Caden go. Peter Piper and Riordan is going to lose it when he realizes he's not going because he's been looking forward to it all weekend.
I pray that Caden, Teagan, Aislinn, Mike and I don't get this bug if it's a bug or strep if it is strep.

On another note, we are getting a second recycling bin! We recycle so much that we don't have enough room and end up throwing the rest away which then leaves us no room in our trash can. So I called this morning and they immediately said we will send you another one! Hey they make money off of it, so I didn't foresee it being an issue, just haven't gotten around to doing it and we've been meaning to call for months now! Trying to be green as can be! The only thing I really have a problem with is the lights. They aren't warm, they are cool/blue and cause my eyes to have an optical migraines.. like flourescents have in the past. So hopefully they will come out with warm 'green' lights and we can change those all out!

Our rest of the week

Well turns out that Riordan and Teagan were not sick, but sick from bad milk. You'd think I'd check it when they wouldn't finish it both mornings. (I don't give milk when the get sick the rest of the day and try again the next morning) Yep, sure enough as soon as I gave them good milk they were just fine!
We still took it easy. But I didn't get much sleep all week because sweet angel Aislinn decided to nurse all night long four nights in a row. So I had to cancel going to a friend's baby shower Friday night and when Mike got home I went to bed.
Saturday morning was Caden's last t-ball game. It was COLD. The girls and I went to Target, while the boys went to the game. It was 34 degrees! Yes it's normal to get that cold, but not till January or February. I did some last minute shopping. Still have to get two more gifts, but I will officially be done!
We had Brunch with Santa at Seville. The German's had an 11 reservation and ours was at 11:30. Let's just say it was very unorganized, and next year if they do it should be a bit more better. We were sat at a cleared table and sat for about 10 minutes when the manager came over and asked if we had a reservation! I was a bit appalled! I calmly said, yes and the hostess sat us here. He began to apologize and asked if anyone had been to our table. I said nope.
The kids at this point were restless and ready to see Santa. Mike and I hardly got any food, and my food (eggs benedict) was a hard boiled egg! The chef remade it, but it took 15 minutes. At this point everyone was ready to go and we were over the whole brunch aspect.
The Santa was beautiful and worth our long wait. Teagan freaked out, so we ended up with a family portrait. I was a bit slumped in the picture so it's not going to look very pretty. The boys really enjoyed their visit. Riordan asked for a train and Caden asked for a NEW bike! Ay me! How do I swing that one? He doesn't need a bike!! We have a perfectly good used one in the garage, but he said it was old. The train we can do for Riordan. Thankfully Caden did write a letter to Santa a week or so ago and asked for Care bears for he, Riordan, and Teagan, a Webkinz Cat, and a Charlie and Lola game. So I think that should suffice and maybe a note from Santa ;-)
This is our second year in a row doing something with the German's for the holidays and let me tell ya I can't wait to see what we do next year!

Riordan has a good case of croup and a cold right now. Hoping he gets better for his party for Christmas at school on Tuesday. He was coughing so hard last night he got sick. Poor baby. He took a very long hot bath trying to get warm, a small fever and slept with us all night long.
The best news was Aislinn slept all night too! She woke up at 6 to eat and is still back to sleep at 7:20!!
Mike is taking Caden to church today, the youngers will just think it's a school day for Caden. I'm supposed to help with the Angel Tree Party today, but I'm sick with a sore throat and stuffed nose. Not sure I should go and keep resting here at home. Decisions.
We have a busy week ahead!
Caden's tball party Monday night at Peter Piper Pizza, a date night with my girls on Tuesday which was originally a date night with Mike to a Christmas Party, but he had a dinner opportunity to drum up more business so that comes first, Wednesday we may or may not be having dinner with the whole Malloy crew. Aislinn will not for the life of us take a bottle so the earliest I can leave is 6:30 praying she goes down, and Amy's mom can sit for them that late and we are meeting in Scottsdale. That alone is hard for me if I needed to get back to Aislinn quickly. 45 mins away and a hungry baby will break my heart! So it may not work out after all and Mike and I will have a date night then. (our sitter hasn't been able to do weekends for the whole month of December!) Thursday is the last day of school for the boys for Winter Break and Friday is Caden's Birthday!! And Amanda German's too! We are going to go to Build a Bear and see the Santa there. Just say hi, or try for another picture if we can!
Friday I'm also getting my roots done and a very very overdue haircut! It has been since June!
Saturday is Amanda's birthday party at Rollie Pollies, then Sunday is church and Monday is Christmas Eve! All the Malloy's are coming here and hopefully the Tripp family. Trying to figure out what to do for food since our church is having Christmas Eve service and I really want to go to that. They have 4 service times too, so Mike and I can switch since going last year with the children was a disaster! LOL It will all work out the way it should ;-)

What a day

It began with Riordan and Teagan getting sick at the same time! Not pretty, oh wait, FIRST I got no sleep for the second night in a row LOL.
So then they got sick. Teagan has a fever I noticed but not Riordan. So Mike cancelled his day.
He was able to meet me at the allergist for Aislinn's appointment. They were both acting fine and were happy so we all went in to the visit.
Dr. Rishi was amazing. Love her! We did a skin test, that we were pretty sure would be negative because it's hard to test on babies, and it was. So she gave us orders for a blood test. While the skin test was doing it's thing, Teagan got sick again! She was on fire with fever. So Mike took her and Riordan home.
Kristi had taken Caden to her house to play after school and fed him lunch! What a HUGE help it was. SO thankful Kristi! Your the greatest!
So around 2 I took Aislinn for her blood draw. I thought they would do a heel prick, but they actually took it from her arm! The lab techs were amazing, took three of them to find a vein, they did and Aislinn didn't even wince! They were so gentle. She cooed the whole time the filled the vial. So we are scheduled to go back in 2 weeks, we will get the results on the phone. If they are positive then we go in, negative just keep a close eye on her and mental note on what I eat.
Even though I felt I was going to fall asleep at a second's notice all day long, it was a pretty good day. I got to lay down for an hour, dozing in and out of sleep around 5 pm, but the ruckus from the zoo was too loud to let me go down, plus Aisie need to be fed. She's asleep, the boys are asleep, as well as Mike with them (I'm not gonna wake him just yet) and Teagan is asleep. Just me and my 'Pushing Daisies' and a chance to post.
We had to cancel a playdate tomorrow with the St. Geme's because of Teagan's fever.
Riordan has school, he is still loving it and just looks so old when he goes! Blows me away.
So a light rest of the week for us until Saturday. Friday night I have a friend's "Bunco Baby Shower". Saturday is Caden's last t-ball game, then we head over to Seville to have lunch with Santa!! We will be there a little after the German and the Jones Family. I just can't wait!
Sunday church and then I come back for our "Angel Tree Party" where we give gifts to children of incarcerated parents. The gifts are bought by the congregation in the name of their parent.
Next Friday is Caden's 5th birthday and we plan to go to our new mall to Build-a-Bear and pictures with Santa, if we don't get one at Seville. Fun fun times! Everyone needs to get well LOL. And no more falling Malloy's.

Doctor's visits

First let me start with sad news. My sister in law's, Kelly (married to Mike's older bro, Tim) father passed away on Saturday. He had been battling cancer for over a year and it was hard fight. He is now no longer suffering, but he is missed greatly by Kelly and her family. I can't stop thinking about you and wish so badly I could be there for you in person, but know I am here for you any other possible way I can!! Love you!

So I have mastitisis AGAIN. Mike cancelled his day so I could go to the doctor. It was taken a long time for my OB to call me back, so I called a doctor that just opened literally across the street from our intersection, Dr. Tognacci. They were able to get me in as a first time patient and I finally have a PCP in Arizona! LOL So got my script, again, and he took a look see at my wrist that has been giving me major issues for a month now. Pretty sure it's tendonitits, but I can't take meds orally for it. Kills my stomach. He's genius though, Aspercreme! So far so good with a good ace bandage. Gotta make sure it doesn't come in contact with Aislinn.

Riordan had his 3 year well check and Aislinn had her 2 month.
Riordan weighs 38 pounds and is 39 1/4 inches tall! 95 % group!
And best part was, NO SHOTS!

Aislinn weighs 13 1/2 pounds and is 23 1/4 inches long. I thought for sure she was over 15 pounds, but that may be because my wrist kills when I hold her. She's 25% for height and 60% for weight. She got 4 shots, but handle it so well!! Such a good little angel!

She is so fun, really has become so alert! She laughs, coos, smiles so big! For about 2 weeks though I have noticed her head tilting the left. Well as most of you know, Riordan had tortecollis and I seem to have a knack for noticing it on others as well. I showed our doctor what she does when she sits up and sure enough, looks like tortecollis to her as well. So we are waiting on a PT consult, but in the mean time I have been doing the PT I learned with Riordan. She does have a little bit of a misshapen head as well. So it will correct once her neck gets better. So glad I have a doctor that listens and sees what I see!

The whole zoo has been just wonderful! December is the busiest time of the year for us and so far so good, even mastitisis isn't going to slow us down. Next up Caden's birthday, and a week later we will have a big party for him as well. In between all that we have dinners, quite a few of them to attend and a baby shower bunco party for me.

We had sunscreens and a back screen door installed the last two weeks, and tomorrow we get our front security screen door. Really trying to cut back that energy bill and use the fresh air outside.
Speaking of, it's going to SNOW in Tucson tonite, in fact, about half the state is supposed to get snow! We've had so much rain in the last two weeks too! Sorry my Georgia, trying to will it your way as well. I think it would be so neat if we got snow too! Caden and Riordan desperately want to see it! But we may drive up to the mountains when Jen and Garrett come so we can ;-)

Riordan's party pics

We had such a great time! Way 2 Play Cafe' really did a great job hosting and it was so nice to NOT have to prepare or clean up. Just got to be in the moment the entire time!! We have such a wonderful extended family out here. Two years and counting! Amazing!
Thank you all for helping Riordan celebrate his 3rd Birthday!

Look at the post below, it was finished today LOL

7 1/2 hours!

Yep she slept that long last night. That was after pretty much no sleeping all day long and screaming and crying.
Someone told me 6 weeks is when they go through a screaming stage.. I can't remember if the others did this, but it is so hard.. we are working on a week now. She's fine if she's held or nursing, but can't put her down for a minute without her starting to scream unless she's asleep!!

Today is the 24th, I never got a chance to finish this post! Life is absolutey all about the children right now. When I do get down time I find myself working on Christmas, cleaning, getting out with some friends, or sleep. I'm so behind on my shows, thank God again for TIVO!

So where to begin, I guess from where I was going to post this. Aislinn is finally growing out of her screaming phase. It's not so bad now, just a few times a day instead of what was like all day. She had an allegic reaction that only affected her skin, this past Tuesday, the 20th. My doctor was incredible, calling every 10 mins to see if Benadryl was working and my sister Jennifer called her nurse Cathy and man was it good for me. I have never had a baby skin do that. Caden was our rash boy, but it was always viral, never a reaction to what he ate. So in the end, the allergist that Dr. Sudha consulted with because I took pictures and sent them to her, said to do a blood test for allergies to certain foods. I will know next week when we go in for that. I pray pray pray she's not allergic to peanuts. I have twice in my life had the same reaction. Once after I ate a Ricola cough drop, and then a week later after I ate Oreo cookies and drank a coke. So random and never happened again!
Aislinn and I go to Atlanta on Friday for a super quick visit to see my family. I hear ya'll are getting some much needed rain soon! I would love to see it too! I can't remember the last time it rained here.
It's really really cold today, well for Arizona. It's still in the high 40's and it's after 10 AM. It's so perfect to get us in the spirit for Christmas. We got our tree up yesterday and after 3 hours Mike fixed the lights on it that went out last year when Riordan pulled the tree over. I pray that doesn't happen again this year. Still need to decorate it and the front of the house.
Caden has two birthday parties today. One, for Emily, is at Rawhide, a cool place that is an old Western Theme place with Saloons, Stage Coaches, and such. Then the other one is for a friend from school, Sammy, at his house. Mike is taking Caden to Emily's and I'll take Caden and our friend Caden Messner to Sammy's.
Thanksgiving was a LONG long day but a great one. We drove to Peoria, which is like driving from Acworth to Peachtree City. It took us 2 hours! We left at 7:45, needed to get gas, McD's and right before we got to the interstate realized we left our camera, double back 10 miles to get it, tried to get the boys to go the bathroom and they wouldn't. 20 mins into the drive, they had to go of course. We went to Surprise first, where Mike's parents, Grammy and Papa, were staying. A really nice subdivision and the house is right on the golf course that runs through it. We took our Christmas picture out on the patio with the course in the background. My sister is going to try and Photoshop one of the girls heads, because they didn't cooperate together for a good one. I'm sure this is what is yet to come with them ;-)
We then headed over to Aunt Amy's and Uncle John's. Her immediate family was there as well as a couple they are great friends with here in Chandler. The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the company was wonderful.
We left a little before 2pm, to get home for any naps, cook sweet potatos, to then head to our friend's home, the Tripp Family. We had Thanksgiving with them last year and wanted to do so again this year. Jeff cooked the entire dinner! The food once again was delicious, the kids played together so wonderfully and hanging out with Marcie and Jeff is always the best.

We had a date night last night. Mike and I went to Fleming's SO YUMMY. I had a Bananas Foster Martini. That drink is DANGEROUS it's so yummy! I need to get the mixings for that. What a great drink and fun to drink with friends! I had a filet Oscar styled, delictable! Mike had a strip steak and of course the Chocolate Lava Cake. And I tried an iced coffee drink with adult beverages and it was pretty yummy, but not so much like the martini. And a new favorite Pinot. A to Z from Oregon. It was absolute so smooth! We then headed to our new wine bar here in Chandler and met Marcie and Jeff. And wouldn't you know, they had the same wine on the menu!! So we ordered the last two bottles and a Mossback which is just a super yummy. I'm paying for it a little this morning, but nothing that a sausage egg and cheese biscuit and icy cold coke didn't fix for me !!

So I will post some pictures from Thanksgiving and off Aislinn's allergic reaction.

Hope you had a happy Thanksgiving!

It's gonna get busy!

So two weeks is Thanksgiving and we will be on the other side of town at John and Amy's.
Then I go to Atlanta for a quick trip with just Aislinn the following weekend.
Riordan's birthday party the next weekend.
Caden's t-ball party most likely that next weekend after.
Christmas the following.
And then Caden's delayed birthday party the last weekend in December.

Already got Teagan her Chrismtas gift .. it's a Graco set of baby stroller, highchair, carseat and crib!! All in pink! Target exclusive. I got it two days ago. It was the last one at the time on the shelf a little beat up but didn't look like anything fell out. Plus it comes with a baby that talks!! It's in the garage and the boys want to open it LOL.
I started the boys a wishlist at Target for birthday/christmas as well. Of course they want to add a $60 remote control car.. not happening! Oh and Riordan's big gift for his birthday is the new Leapstart Rightstart Computer.. He's going to have so much fun, he always wants to be on the computer and this plugs into the TV! So now I can have Caden on Webkinz and Riordan on TV.. now what to do with Teagan because she's going to be all over Riordan's computer.
Not sure what Caden's big gift is yet.. still trying to agree on it with him ;-)

MNO

I seriously need one. For the past year, I have not been able to go due to either being very ill or Mike having a dinner/out of town meeting. A whole year I haven't been able to make Moms Night Out! THis is crazy.. the next one is next Tuesday, Mike is in Tucson and I will be at home with 4 children.
In fact Mike is in Tucson for 4 days next week and then the next week he's in Albacrappy, NM for 2 days...
My sitter can't watch at night during the week anymore either for some time now... I'm feeling a bit frustrated can you tell?
I haven't had my hair done since August, a pedicure since August, a facial since June (my skin has had it with this lack of sleep)
a good nights sleep since 2001 maybe?

Interface Cable IFC-400PCU

It has come a long way! In two years it's more easy to find online and most likely in a store, which isn't possible for me to go trekking at this point.
So the camera cable which was only 10 bucks will be here hopefully in few days since it's shipped from San Diego and I can get back to uploading pictures!! So many cute ones to share.

Aislinn at one month

I can't believe she 1 month already, well now 5 weeks!
She had her 1 month well check on Friday and she is now 10 lbs 13 oz and 22 1/4 inches long!!
She got her second Hep B shot and did not like it one bit.
She can do tummy time and easily turn her head from side to side (been doing this since 2 weeks old) and can hold her up on her own for lengths at a time now. She'll be talking next week ;-)
She gives us lots of smiles lately and is starting to be more awake.
She is just a joy!

Just can't catch a break

I got mastitis again while on antibiotics from the first episode, on Friday. It is going away now. Obviously rest is an issue here, it's quite impossible. Things always need to be done and attention is needed everywhere. Then the middle of the night is always a toss up on whether I will get some sleep or not.

I can't find my camera cord, again, to upload pictures. However, Trick or Treating was so much fun! Teagan was not into it at first and wanted her dress off desperately. She was Minnie Mouse. I knew that the ears and the gloves were not going to be possible and the red shoes we got to go with it were kicked off and the pink crocs went back on. Whatever the princess wants!
Riordan and Caden looked adorable in their costumes. Caden was Peter Pan, minus his sword that went missing that day. Still haven't found it. Riordan was Spiderman minus the mask. I don't blame him, it didn't fit very well, smells like plastic and you can hardly see out the eye holes.
We made it to the Tripp's home at 5:30, Mike was on his way home and met us over there around 6 ish. We had pizza from Marco's, wow it was really good and I'm picky pizza eater. Our friend's the Jackson's and Henderson's were there as well. A few family's had to cancel because of illnesses :( Hope they are all feeling better now! We only did two streets and the children were ready to go back home and play. We were all for that! Aislinn was screaming pretty much the whole time. It's her time to be awake and nurse and cry for a couple of hours, so I knew that it was going to be hard time for her and I. But we made it!

Aislinn had her first bottle last night. She did really terrific and didn't have any confusion. I'm so excited because now I can get out and not worry about her needing to eat! Hurray for bottles!

Yesterday I attended an arrival shower for my friend Karyn. Kathleen hosted and she did such a beautiful job and thought about each guest's individual needs. She is one the most caring thoughtful people I know and so lucky to have her as a friend! Karyn's baby, Nina, was born a week before Aislinn. She is absolutely beautiful and it was so wonderful to meet her in person! The food was delicious and the cake was just as scrumptious!! It was from Bolero's at Seville, and was the same as when the girls did my luncheon. We all raved about it so much that Kathleen did one for Karyn! SO thoughtful!

We have church this morning and then another laid back day. I'm sure the Pats are playing when we get home. Mike isn't feeling very well. Got a bit of a head cold. Both of us are lacking on the sleep issue. Apparently are bodies are revolting. He's been working out 3 times a week for a month now with a trainer! He has lost 4 pounds and 10 % body fat. You can tell he's making a difference and I can tell he feels better too. He says he hates his trainer because it is hard work! Well it's paying off!

This week is sorta normal with an everyday event. Housekeepers on Monday, which has Mike gone all day and nite on a golf tournament. I have no help, so pray for me to keep my sanity! The rest of the week we have nothing else going on but school and t-ball. Nice for a change. Caden wants to play soccer this winter and so does Riordan, so I need to send in their registrations. Hmmm that's about it!

Madeleine Clare

arrived today via c-section at 1:10 pm, after being bumped twice for emergency c-sections : one was a 26 week birth and the other a mommy had fallen and I'm assuming her placenta abrupted.
She weighed 7lbs 4 oz and is 19 and some inches long LOL.
I hear she is just beautiful and Amy is doing pretty well herself too.
Welcome Madeleine Clare!! We can't wait to meet you!
